Hello Everyone! Wish you all a Grand New Year 2010! So many things happened last year, and so much is in store for the next year. So many of you read my blog posts and encouraged me with your straight comments, silent comments and personalized comments. Thank You Thank You Thank You! This year I am planning to improve my skills and also write more often. With all your blessings do read my posts as always and give me your thoughts on it.
On New Year guess where I ate? New York City - the most happening place on earth. After the 7 hrs wait and watching the ball drop who won’t be hungry. I wanted to eat something warm and then stroll down to central park. Right around the corner on 49th & Broadway I saw SBarro's an Italian style chain restaurant. I did not have much expectations from this place since I had their spaghetti @ Buckland hills mall. But I anyway went in with friends. Though the crowd was huge, the line was moving fast enough. I took the Veggie Pasta with Marinara and a coffee. The lady there and the server were happy faced at 1:00 am. With the warmth of their kindness, we took one of the tables. There were enough tables to support the crowd.
I took the first mouthful - first for the year and it was like "Amirtham (food of gods)". The pasta has been cooked in goat cheese, mozzarella mix and some nice veggies, warm enough to melt down and the marinara was beyond anything I have ever tasted. It seemed to me as the best food for the New Year. It made me so happy that the stroll that followed was amazing. I was hearing appreciations for the Pizza too from my friends. A good place in that area, with a very reasonable and affordable price. I would recommend it, if you are planning a visit to the Time Square.
So, Here I start this year with these words - Cook Well, Eat Healthy and Prosper!
